WRITING
- FAVORITE TOPIC: Incorporate new guidelines for using bulleted lists in reports, proposals, emails, and updates
- Cut the clutter: the wasted words and pretentious phrases that can cause confusion
- Refresh your writing style by clearing out surprising clichés that creep into your writing
Exercises for the writing segment include:
- Group exercise: formatting bulleted lists
- Final bullet point exam
- Pair-and-share correction of wordy phrases
- Before-and-after rewrite of sample sentences

REWRITING
- Make sure documents bearing your organization’s name and insignia are absolutely error free with no embarrassing mistakes or typos
- Focus on better receptivity in writing with guidelines for non-inflammatory language, gender-neutral references, and attention to tone
- Take time for hot topics related to grammar, punctuation, and commonly confused word pairs
Exercises for the rewriting segment include:
- Pop quiz on “Which Word”
- One-sheet of executive bloopers
- Bonus receipt of tangible writing tools
