LUSA Webinar
Date: Wednesday, October 30, 2019
Time: 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM mountain/1:00 to 2:00 eastern
Featured expert: Kevin E. O’Connor, CSP
Description: How do you respond to unexpected disruption? Do you fight, flee, freeze? One of my graduate students said, “I flop!”
The real executive skill is to figure it out. How to successfully do that, especially in-the-moment-under-pressure-when-all-eyes-are-on-you…is based on several critical skills we can use in meetings and in one-on-one situations that work to encourage involvement and cooperation.
Objectives: At the completion of this hour the participants will be able to:
- Arrange their meetings in a way that promotes a strong sense of personal involvement, shared purpose, and community.
- Have an immediate skillset to become aware and deal with difficult people and situations.
- Know the difference between healthy disruption and not-so-healthy dysfunction.
- Muster the courage to try new skills in your next situation, even under pressure…at work and at home!
