More importantly, what new strategies, competencies, and skills will be necessary to harness the benefits of these demographic disruptions?
Dr. Shirley Davis, a recognized authority on the global workforce and leadership effectiveness will answer all of these questions as she details the megatrends and business implications that will shape the workforce of the future. Additionally, she will provide practical strategies that business leaders should employ if they expect to achieve greater Inclusion in 2030.

Dr. Shirley Davis, President and CEO of SDS Global Enterprises is a seasoned thought leader on the global changing workforce, a certified leadership coach, and a master of reinvention. She has worked in more than 30 countries around the world on five continents.
Most recently, for eight years, she was the Global Head of Diversity & Inclusion and Workplace Strategies at the world’s largest HR association, The Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM). Prior to joining SHRM, Dr. Davis served as Global Chief Diversity Officer at Constellation Energy (an Exelon Corporation). Dr. Davis has also served in senior leadership roles of HR and Diversity & Inclusion at Capital One, Circuit City Stores, and Bank of America. She is a certified Senior HR Professional, a certified Interculturalist, a Certified Speaking Professional (CSP) and sits on the National Board the National Speaker’s Association.
Dr. Davis holds a Bachelor’s degree in Pre-Law; a Master’s degree in Human Resources Management; and a Ph.D. in Business & Organization Management with a specialization in Leadership Development.
Dr. Davis has also been a featured expert and quoted on NBC’s The Today Show, the Wall Street Journal, National Public Radio, USA Today, HR Magazine, and CNN.com, to name a few. She is the best-selling author of, “Reinvent Yourself: Strategies for Achieving Success in Every Area of Your Life,” and “The Seat: How to Get Invited to the Table When You are Over- Performing but Undervalued.” Additionally, she is a former Ms. American United States 2000.

Timed Outline:
9:00 to 10:30
Demographic Disruptions – an overview of workforce 2030 and the new entrants to the workforce (45 min); Participants will be polled on their readiness for these new workforce realities and diagnose the organization’s current level of effectiveness (30 min); group debriefs and discussions (15 min).
10:45 to 12:00
Describe the common challenges and implications that the workplace will undergo as a result of a more global, diverse, multigenerational demographic (e.g., employee engagement, attracting top talent, productivity, retention, innovation, etc.) (60 min); Participants will discuss real world workplace scenarios and present how to respond appropriately (45 min). A summary of strategies and reminders will conclude this segment.
