Description
This program is for anyone who works on or manages a team. This might be a team that was once co-located and is now virtual, or it might be a project team that spans borders and time-zones and meets virtually, or it might be a team that is hybrid where some members are face-to-face and some are virtual. If you work in different places but need to communicate like a team, this program is for you.
Each of the five behaviors builds on the previous ones: Trust, Conflict, Commitment, Accountability and Results. Over the course of the class, participants will learn to strengthen their individual behaviors that impact the team and overcome the challenges that are specific to any team trying to be agile in 2022.
This program utilizes the adult learning model and accelerated learning techniques to ensure participants not only know what to do but how to do it. Personal and group practice is built into the program to provide an environment of discovery learning. Video, activities, and interaction are built into the program. Christie is a fully accredited facilitator of the program through Wiley publishing. Currently, there are fewer than 250 Lencioni accredited facilitators worldwide.
Learning Objectives:
After this learning event, attendees will know how to:
- Explore vulnerability-based trust: what it means and how it manifests.
- Practice engaging in unfiltered, constructive debate of ideas and healthy conflict.
- Consider how to help the team make better, faster decisions and get buy-in.
- Practice respectful, non-defensive language in both giving and receiving feedback.
- Learn how to allow the team to focus on the achievement of collective results, rather than the focus on individual agenda and gain.
